Playing by the rules isn’t for everyone Gavin is a great counterpoint for her. Luckily, by the end of the book, he more than chabging himself. He wanted to know who she really is and what makes her happy.
I didn’t want to read it for a long time because I didn’t like Liz in the fisrt story, but we get to know her in this one and we see that she’s human. Want to Read saving….

The whole way through this book I had a little trouble caring for these characters, but I never disliked them enough for it to take away from my reading enjoyment.
That would have made Changing the Game perfect. I understand why he had a problem with Liz. chanbing
I read the first book in the series, The Perfect Play and thought the same thing. Took him a while but he got there. Landon is truly sexy beast, I mean, he is a knight in shining armour’ Goodreads reviewer’I thoroughly enjoyed Landon and Celia’s story, but the girls were magic.
Gavin and Elizabeth are great characters who in the end you feel are friends. Trivia About Changing the Game I understand why he acted the way he did, and felt he had a right to be upset, but I didn’t like his vindictive attitude towards Liz.
There was still tons burotn sex scenes and they were hot, but after the first 6 or so I had to skim a little not complaining though too much is better than too little especially with all the “happy endings” Gavin and Liz were maci giving each other And soon Hunter realizes changign has taught Brit too well. And while Liz has her faults, deep down she is a woman who has a desperate need for control and independence. That being said, once these two got into a rhythm with their relationship, I really buurton them together.
But Gavin has a mind of his own, and Liz soon finds herself agent and lover to the bad boy of baseball. Muuuuuuch better than the previous one!

I also came to love how strong and independent she was; it was about time Gavin fell in love with her! I will point out that towards the end of the book Gavin does turn into a major asshole idiot for a while.
I think his continued behaviour was a bit over the top! Trade Paperbackpages. Burton could take an unlikable character, Elizabeth Darnell, from The Perfect Playand make her not only likable, cchanging also the next heroine in the series.
Seemed kind of depressing that view spoiler [ these characters were having so much more sex than me! I needed an escape, and it provided one. Liz was an interesting character to begin with and I loved seeing the layers of her real personality begin to crumble when she finally enters in a relationship with Gavin.

In fact, Changing the Game might very well be my favorite romance that she has written to date but I do reserve the right to alter this opinion when Taking a Shot is released next year. I only hope they stay on par with Changing the Game rather than reverting to the disappointment I felt with Straddling the Line.
