It is an ok reading. Jul 28, Laura rated it it was ok Shelves: But it happens my in-laws for instance, who are still very almost sickening in love today! Breathing is one of the most realistic teen romance stories I’ve read in a long time. It’s not necessarily the best feelings to have while reading a book.

Would recommend for 16 plus. Reader reviewed by stephanie Before I started BreathingI vheryl warned about the Southern dialect and how irritating it was. Maybe I was just expecting too much since everyone else seemed to think it was the Best Book Ever and I was expected something Sarah Dessen worthy.
Or maybe just yourself? The transition scenes were iffy and abrupt at points. It kind of felt like I was missing a piece of the puzzle, maybe not missing it completely, but missing a part of it. Give The Dark My Love.

Eighth Grade Bites 1. Hardcoverpages. I could hear the story in my head with Savannah’s accent, I think that really helped ground the story in a culture and a location. Jackson didn’t mind, though, because it gave him time to work on his paintings, his hidden secret. By reading the summary, Breathin expected Jackson to dump her after being uncertain about returning to her.
