I can imagine that most people feel that the 20 or so hours required to input the data into a computer is better spent on learning more kanji. Also, any thoughts on Kodansha KLC? There is no attention given to the readings of the kanji as Heisig believes that one should learn the writing and meaning first before moving on to the readings in Volume II. Aren’t radicals like letters in a word not carrying any actual meaning in themselves?
