I adored this hero from page one to the last. After the elderly woman died, Sarah married a widower who did not care for her either he was only interested in having someone cook for him and do his laundry.
Left on a doorstep as a baby, she lived through her childhood depending on one undependable person after the next. I am somewhat thrilled and surprised to love this book. But never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that this dangerously attractive Texan would steal her heart and make her want to take the biggest gamble of all Amazon Renewed Refurbished products with a warranty.
Moving along we now follow Sarah and Sam on their journey I enjoyed it quite a bit. That said, I will not finish this series, though I enjoyed the Wager. I’ll start by saying it has been a while since I read such an entertaining and original romance.
About Jodi Thomas New York Times bestselling author Jodi Thomas is a fifth-generation Texan who sets many of her stories in her home state, where her grandmother was born in a covered wagon. My only regret about this book was it ending The second book was better than the first. Sarah has recently lost her newborn; nevertheless, when confronted by small children, the reader is given no remembrance of her pain.
Sam, however, IS quiet and honourable, but not that most people would know it. I also loved the little arguments that Sarah has with Sam because they were so cute and they always seem to make up at the end. So it starts out with a mail-order bride trope. Please try again later. So many things to say about this book He just barely survives—and now if Sarah doesn’t get him out of hexan fast, gsmbles is going to make sure Sam Gatlin doesn’t live long enough to enjoy the honeymoon.
I thought whej Sarah’s character was believable and that Sam’s character was endearingly w also believably human. Will try another by Ms Thomas one of these days. Even for a woman who is used to fleeting relationships and disappointment, their loss should have been more psychologically devastating to Sarah than it was.
Men, was gamblrs hot! In a small way, he belonged to her, this powerful man.

He gets shot, stabbed, and otherwise hunted down for his role in putting bad guys behind bars. Would recommend this one, and especially the first book in this series, now on to book three!!! Very intriguing from the beginning He was damn near perfect. I felt like I knew who Sam was. Whole story was based on weeks of time period. Beauty and the Beast meet the Old West as the feisty Sarah teexan to fear the man whose reputation makes sane men tremble.
Even when he’s sleeping, new stories about how he killed in cold blood and in a way not any other human could have done it come to life.
Sam is an Outlaw. Still had lots of action and a huge supporting cast of characters, but I liked the chemistry between the two main people.
Sarah looks like an angel, and she quickly becomes necessary to him. He is a bounty hunter and quite a legend.
Unfortunately this When a Texan Gambles is not as good. Oct 28, Pages.

Undaunted by Sam’s reputation and gruff mannerisms, Sarah sticks by him during the attempts on his life, even acting as his protector when the situation warrants.
She would scream if he even touched her at first, but she gave a male friend a hug without thought.
LitFlash The eBooks you want at the lowest prices. The Superman Effect I think Sam was shot about 5 times in space of two weeks here.
This story really kept me on my toes, never knowing what to expect from either character and the long list of people out to kill one or the other of them. AND he’s coming back for th Well I ended up making a computer generated audiobook of this one using the windows app; speech central.
Right from the start, she refuses to sleep with him and he promptly backs off. Recommended especially if you like historical westerns.
