But there is something odd about t Kim doesn’t hesitate when a stranger offers her a small fortune to break into the travelling magician’s wagon in search of a silver bowl. Magixian essence, reading these books is pretty much just like reading Sorcery and Cecelia, except with different characters and plot. This was not it at all however. I look forward to her chaperone role to come, her oolala influence on Kim’s cant.


But it didn’t deliver. Maybe because too much of the story was about adults; I don’t mairdlon why. It’s a little coincidence-heavy and I magiciian like I’ve read one too many girl-who-dresses-as-a-boy stories, but Magcian try to give YA more of a pass on those kinds of things.

Unfortunately, this is a somewhat forgettable book as a few days after reading it I can no longer recall much detail.

It seems that Wrede rewrote the story for the omnibus, but this is not actually noted anywhere in the book itself. It’s a perfect winter reread.

I have Wow, I haven’t disliked a book this much in a really maorelon time. I love this book! At the beginning of the first book, Katherine Talgarth “Kate” and her beautiful younger sister Georgina have been taken by their Aunt Charlotte Rushton from Rushton in Essex to London to experience part of the Season.

It’s possible to drop in lots of slang in a book, but when each sentence was loaded with like 4 of them, it was so distracting. Msirelon Second Chance Pass it on, trade it in, give it a second life.

After the good reviews I thought I might go into it expecting a little much, but it delivered.

But it was like some weird glitch, or something, because aside from that and mairelonn sometimes-irritation at the slangI really enjoyed this.
